I've been doing competitive programming since 2018. In high school, I competed in various contests hosted by universities in my home state, Florida. The most notable of these are UCF's HSPT and Florida International University's HSPC. My teams and I have even managed to secure several top 5 positions, which is a great source of pride for us (go Code Play!), winning some cool prizes over the years. For two years I was part of Florida International University's ICPC team as its "captain". I've been doing it less as more time has passed (especially now that I'm getting closer to graduating university), but as a hobby it still holds a special place in my heart and I still enjoy looking at a good problem every now and then. In my capacity as a member of my university's programming team, I've also helped out in organizing our very own HSPC (high school programming contest), which I have done from 2024 to 2026. Having participated in similar competitions throughout middle and highschool, it's been a lot of fun being on the other side of the table, and I really enjoy giving challenging problems to all of our contestants.
